Cesky Terriers are rare - only a few puppies are born in the UK each year, and breeders usually have a waiting list.

If you are interested in owning one, you might have to wait a little while. The Puppy Co-ordinator will know if there are litters planned or puppies available.

If you do have to wait, use the time by getting to know the breed - come to a club event or to a show and speak to owners. Find out who is planning a litter and ask to be put on their waiting list. It sometimes turns out that a breeder does have a slightly older puppy looking for a home - because the breed is so rare people don't always know how well a Cesky Terrier might fit into their family.

Alternatively, you might consider an older Cesky Terrier.

All good breeders will naturally want to take back any dog that they bred if the owners' circumstances change, so very few Cesky Terriers actually come into Cesky Welfare, but the Welfare Co-ordinator will usually know of any older dogs needing a new home.
