The Working Cesky Terrier
As an all-purpose hunting terrier the Cesky Terrier is mainly used in his homeland, and in neighbouring Slovakia, to track the scent of wild boar.
In the UK we do not hunt Wild Boar, and the opportunities for terrier work underground are also very limited, but that doesn't mean that we can't find ways to test our terriers aptitude for work. Several have shown skill at tracking, whilst their calm and biddable disposition makes them popular on the beating line.
